Edwards, R. Weller, S. Davidson, E, Jamieson, L (2021) Small Stories of Home Moves: A Gendered and Generational Breadth-and-Depth Investigation, Sociological Research Online.

New research article from Dr Emma Davidson (Research Training Centre) and colleagues, Professor Rosalind Edwards, Dr Susie Weller and Professor Lynn Jamieson. The article explores the way people from different age cohorts and genders talk about home moves to contribute a rounded and nuanced relational understanding. It draws on a secondary analysis of qualitative longitudinal data from multiple archived studies, using the research team’s own ‘breadth-and-depth’ analytic approach.

This publication is linked to the Big Qual Analysis Resource Hub, developed as part of a National Centre for Research Methods work package to investigate approaches to analysing large volumes of qualitative data.
